when he was voted on in his own right. After completing studies in adult
nursing, earlier in 2006, Richard now works at The Royal London Hospital
in renal surgical nursing. He attends City Gates Church in Soho, a young
congregation supporting many students. As well as participating in the
CNM Council, he is a Trustee and Secretary of Micah’s Call
International - encouraging people to act justly for the worlds poor,
in response to the calling of the Gospel in Micah 6 vs. 8.
Rachel Bowen
Rachael has just become the seventh member of the Council for CNM
and says she is finding it all a little new at the moment. She was
a member of CNM as a student and has been a part of the Birmingham
group since its launch last year. Rachel qualified as a staff nurse
from Birmingham University in September 2005 and is currently on a
one-year rotation programme at the University Hospital Birmingham NHS
Trust. It has been a challenging but definitely exciting and joyful few months!
